Brief introduction of research:
In 1998 Marina Polyakova received her Ph.D. degree in Metal Forming. Her research interests are connected with creating combined technologies of metal forming. At present time Marina Polyakova is interested in different aspects of quality control in metallurgical technological processes, qualimetry and standardization of hardware production and peculiarities of production quality formation in technologies of metalware manufacturing. Her research interests also include creating nanotechnologies based on combination of the different types of deformation. She is author of over 100 scientific and technical papers. She is coauthor of several monographs about different aspects of downstream metal production. Since 2003 Marina Polyakova is serving the duties of senior editor of the scientific journal Vestnik of Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University in technological and machinebuidling spheres. It is the scientific peer-reviewed journal, which is committed to publishing the results of high quality, independently peer-reviewed advanced research, review material and design projects of both well-known and young scientists and industrialists of Russia and foreign countries in a broad range of research in the field of metallurgy, machine building, metalworking and related industries. Since November 2007 Marina Polyakova has been performing the duties of the Academic Secretary of the Dissertation Council where doctoral and candidate thesis of the specialities “Metal Science and Metals and Alloys Thermal Treatment” and “Standardization and Product Quality Management” are defended. Since 2012 Marina Polyakova is the Honorary Educationalist of high professional education of the Russian Federation.
