After obtaining his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, T. Y. Ng joined the A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC). In 2002, he left IHPC to join the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University, as faculty.
His specific areas of interests include the following:
