Research Experience:
Md Fahmi Abd Samad received his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Engineering Management and Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2000, 2002 and 2009, respectively. Currently, he serves as an associate professor in Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. He is a Chartered Engineer under Engineering Council (UK) and a member of Institution of Mechanical Engineers. His research interests are in system identification, evolutionary computation and control engineering where he has written two books and more than 10 journal/proceeding papers on the topics. He has also managed several research grants, at university level and nationally.
