Research Experience:
Chao Gao, Ph.D., is currently an assistant professor of the Control Science and Engineering at Naval Aviation University (NAU), Yantai, China, and also a postdoctoral researcher and one of the founders for Aircraft Networked Navigation Technology Laboratory (ANTL), affiliated with NAU. He earned his bachelor of engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation at Naval Aeronautical Engineering Institute, China; master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Control Science and Engineering at Naval Aeronautical and Astronautical University, China, in 2007, 2009, and 2017, respectively. His current research interests include networked navigation technology, mobile wireless networks, cooperative communication, networked control systems, and navigation technology. He has hold 9 inventive patents, and published about 30 research papers in scientific journals, international conferences, and book chapters. He can be reached at gaochao.shd@163.com.
