Dr. Shivani Dhall
DAV Collage Jalandhar, India.
Research Area:
Carbon materials and their devices for gas sensor and interconnected application
Research Experience:
I am working as Assistant Professor in department of Physics, DAV College Jalandhar. Previously, I worked as NPDF in thin film lab, Department of Physics, IIT Delhi. I did PhD work from CEN, IIT Bombay. My PhD registered from Department of Physics, NIT Kurukshetra. I got best INUP project award from CEN, IIT Bombay in 2015. My main area of interest is carbon materials, nanoparticles, device fabrication using lithography technique for gas sensing, photo-sensor and interconnected applications. I am also interesting in structural and electrical properties of carbon materials based hybrid composites. I am working on carbon based nanomaterials and their composites for different applications since last 8 years. I have optimized and proposed new hybrid materials which has potential application in hydrogen gas sensor at room temperature conditions. Also, I have reported the electrical and mechanical joining of broken nanotube at nano-scale by electron induced beam deposition technique (EBID) first time in research area.
