Research Area: The metal matrix composites and material surface modification
Research Experience:
I promoted to lecturer in Jilin University of Technology in 1991, promoted to associate professor in advance in Jilin University of Technology in 1993, and promoted to professor in Jilin University of Technology in 1998. In 2002, I became a doctoral supervisor in Jilin University. From February 2004 to January 2005, I studied abroad as a visiting scholar at Center for Advanced Materials Technology in School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering in The University of Sydney in Australia funded by China Scholarship Council.
I won the “The Sixth Youth Science and Technology Awards in Jilin Province” in 2000. I was awarded the title “The Middle-Young-Aged Professional Talents with Outstanding Contribution in Jilin Province” in 2002. I won “The Science and Technology Innovation Outstanding Award in Changchun City” in 2003. I was awarded the title “The First Batch of Top-Notch Innovative Talents in Jilin Province” in 2004. I was selected into “New Century Excellent Talents Support Plan of the Ministry of Education in China” in 2005. I won the special government allowances of the state council in China in 2006.
I long engaged in the researches on the casting alloy materials, composite materials, friction and wear of materials, and material surface modification etc. and successively completed and bore more than 40 scientific research projects such as the national natural science funds and provincial or ministry projects. So far, I have published more than 300 papers in domestic and international famous journals and academic conference, including more than 80 SCI papers and more than 150 EI papers. Eight national invention patents were authorized, and Eight utility model patents were authorized. I won two “The second prize” and two “The third prize” of the provincial science and technology progress prize.
