Research Experience:
Prof. (Dr.) Purna Chandra Mishra, Ph.D., Associate Dean, School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT University, obtained the B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Berhampur University, Odisha, India in the year 2001, and the M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in the year 2006 and 2011. He is currently working as a Professor and Associate Dean in the School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
My research interests are Smart nano-materials, nanoparticles, impingement heat transfer, nanofluids, thermal systems design and optimization, combustion engineering, biofuels and computational fluid dynamics. He has published 120 international peer reviewed journal articles of repute and published and filed 17 patents, guided 8 PhDs and 22 M.Tech theses and currently has many research projects sponsored by DST, BRNS etc and supervising many M.Tech and PhD theses.
