Research Experience:
Chinh Van Nguyen got his PhD at the Material and Research Engineering Institute, Sheffield Hallam University, UK in early 2014. The PhD project developed a novel technique, dual function of carbon fiber strengthening and impressed current cathodic protection anode for reinforced concrete structures. After completion of his PhD, he have worked as postdoctoral researcher on the project in collaboration between C-Probe Systems Ltd, UK and Sheffield Hallam Universiry, UK to develop the alkali activated cementitious material products as impressed current cathodic protection anode for reinforced concrete structures until end of 2016. He is currently working at the Department of Civil Engineering, The University of Danang- University of Science and Technology, Vietnam as a lecturer and researcher. He has published 9 papers in peer review journals and international conferences.
