Research Experience:
Ding Zhi, born in August 1983. He is from Tongling, Anhui Province. He has a Ph.D. in engineering from Zhejiang University, associate professor, and a national registered civil engineering engineer. He is currently the deputy head of the Department of Civil Engineering at Zhejiang University's City College. He is mainly engaging in the teaching and research work of underground engineering, especially the construction and operation of tunnels on the surrounding environment. At present, he has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation Project, one Zhejiang Provincial Natural Fund Project, and one major science and technology project in Hangzhou, and participated in four National Natural Science Foundation projects and provincial key projects. There are more than 40 academics papers have been published in journals such as Journal of Vibration Engineering & Vibration, Journal of Central South University, Geomechanics and Engineering, Journal of Geotechnical Engineering, Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering and Geomechanics, of which more than 30 papers have been searched by SCI and EI. The monograph has two monographs, and six invention patents have been authorized. He has won the second prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2016) and the third prize of Zhejiang Province Scientific and Technological Progress Award (2012). He was selected as the fundraiser for the Zhejiang Provincial Association for Science and Education, the "131" young talents in Hangzhou, the outstanding teachers in Hangzhou Education Bureau, and the outstanding achievements in science and technology workers in Hangzhou. In 2014, he was sponsored by the “Outstanding Support Program for Overseas Young Teachers in Hangzhou” and went to Taiwan University of Science and Technology to study with Professor Zhangzhang Zhang for three months. He is also a member of Tunnel and Non-Excavation Engineering Committee of Zhejiang Institute of Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, and a member of domestic and foreign authorities such as "Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology", "Journal of Zhejiang University-" and "Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering".
