Research Experience:
Professor Datin Sr. Dr Hamimah Adnan is currently the Deputy Dean, Research and Industry Linakges, Faculty of Architecture, Planning & Surveying, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam (Jan 2017 – current). She is the registered Quantity Surveyor and members of Royal Institution of Surveyors (RISM) Malaysia, Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Royal Institution of Surveyors (RICS) UK. Her PhD was in Project Management and in 2004, focusing on Joint Venture Projects in Malaysia: Factors Critical to Success. She did her Post Doctorate study with the Nottingham Trent University, UK under the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) and in 2010, she produced a topic entitled Succession Criteria in Malaysian International Joint Venture.
She is very active in organising and planning within the Research Management Unit and has been a Coordinator of Research, Innovation and Industry Linkage (2005 – 2014). She managed to elevate the status of the Research Management Unit to a higher level through her active participation role in the faculty as well the university as a whole. She played actively in contributing her expertise as an advisor for the professional bodies. A profound personality in organising national and international forum, seminars, convention, conferences for examples Malaysian Malay Contractor Society, Board of Quantity Surveyors, Construction Development Board, Chartered Institute of Building, Royal Chartered Surveyors and with foreign universities (North Carolina University, USA, Bung Hatta University, Padang, Sumatera, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand)
