Francisco Manuel Marquez currently works at the Department of Chemistry and Physics, Universidad del Turabo. Francisco does research in Nanotechnology, Environmental Chemistry and Catalysis. Their current projects include 'Synthesis of new electrodes for high performance Li-ion batteries', 'Hydrogen production by water splitting', 'Catalytic photodegradation of organic pollutants', 'Synthesis of Micro and mesoporous materials', 'Materials for adsorption of CO2', and "Environmental catalysis'.
