Research Experience:
After graduation from university in 1990, Prof. Lihua Liu worked as an assistant engineer in a papermaking enterprise, mainly engaged in papermaking environmental protection, papermaking technology and the application of papermaking chemicals. He got his Master degree in applied chemistry from Central South University in March 2001, and a Ph.D. degree in metallurgical physical chemistry from Central South University in June 2004. He began his teaching and academic career almost immediately as a lecturer in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Hunan University of Science and Technology, and was promoted to a Professor in 2012. He is mainly engaged in the research of environmental functional materials and pollution control technology. He is a member of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Professional Committee of Hunan Pharmaceutical Society, and also joined the editorial board of Modern Chemical Research. He has been in charge of 2 programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and more than 10 Provincial and Ministerial projects. He won the Third Prize of Hunan Province Technological Invention Prize (2016) and Excellent Paper of Natural Science of Xiangtan City Prize twice (2012, 2014). He have published more than 80 papers, and 2 textbooks and participated in compiling a monograph, and have 40 China Invention Patents.
