Research Experience:
Pengjiao Jia is a jointed Ph.D in the field of geotechnical engineering at the Northeastern University, China and University of New South wales, Australia. His main field of research is tunnelling and underground engineering and soil mechanics. Dr. Jia. has led one research program, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities (Grant No. N160106006), and participated in more than 10 research programs such as project of national science and technology supporting plan(Grant No. 2012BAK24B0104) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China(Grant No.51578116), etc. His research has been recognised by 22 technical publications and more than 10 patents, also he has received an excellent award granted by Tunnel and Underground Works Branch of China Civil Engineering Society and KSRM Scholarship Award granted by 2017 YSRM Young Scholars’ Symposium on Rock Mechanics.
